Junior Prizegiving 2022
On Thursday, 8th December we were thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our Year 9 and 10 Students.
All those who came first in one or more of their subjects crossed the stage to receive their certificates and shake hands with their Deans.
We also presented some very special awards to those students who have truly been "Seeking the Heights" this year. Our Deans’ Award recognizes excellent citizenship in each of our four Houses, the Ä€kina Leader Award is presented to one student who has demonstrated the school values and worked hard to achieve their academic goals.
The Board of Trustees award for all-round excellence goes to one student in each year group who excels both academically and through their chosen extra-curricular activities. The year 10 BoT award is accompanied by the Callum Bell trophy named in honour of a Massey High School student who sadly passed away in 1990, each year we send a photograph of the winner next to Callum’s memorial plaque to Rose McBirney, Callum’s mother. Finally, our runner up and top students in each year are presented with their trophies and an academic blue tie (if they have not already received one).
All students who placed second or third in one or more subject received their certificates following the ceremony. If anyone was unable to attend the event, certificates will be posted out to the address held on file.
Congratulations to all our prize winners of 2022.
