Meet Our Gold Badge Prefects
Meet our Arts Leaders.
Kia Ora, my name is Eloise and my life has often revolved around the Arts. Growing up I spent most of my time dancing, performing, photographing anything and everything, writing silly stories and attempting to sing which is something you’ll never catch me doing now days. My goals for this year are to sort of just continue to grow as an individual, specifically focusing on my artistic exploration, which currently consists of working towards publishing some of my writing. In terms of my role, I wish to be able to offer opportunities for students to fully immerse themselves in the Arts in whatever way they please. Some of my fellow prefects and I are currently starting up fortnightly lunchtime performances on Fridays starting the second week of next term!! COME AND GET INVOLVED At this point in time, I’ve just been loving working with the other prefects. Planning and executing ideas for this year, it’s been a very rewarding experience and I’m so excited to see how the rest of this year will pan out for us all. | |
Hi there, my name is Braven Deocares. I have always admired music, since I was a little boy I was surrounded by a family and a community that’s always been involved in music. I grew up in a church founded family and have seen almost my whole family serving in the music ministry. Which to this day I am now a part of and have been serving for five years now. My goals for this year are to be able to encourage and bring more people from any age, to break-out of their comfort zones and feel comfortable and welcomed to the performing side of arts. To nurture and help them find their way to express who they are through the arts. As an arts leader, I would like to step to the side and guide the young and next generation to be brave and embrace the light of the stage. Some of my highlights from this year, include being given the ability to perform at one of the Friday lunchtimes with a band that formed during choir camp, comprised of people who thought they'd never see themselves ever performing. This put a huge smile, not only on my face, but their faces, seeing them enjoy the spotlight. |
