Congratulations to Bhavneet Singh (9HFR) who has taken out first place in the New Zealand Field Archery (NZFAA) for Nationals under Marked Series, in his division - Junior Male Bowhunter Unlimited - Novice 1. The series included 2 League rounds held at Whitford Archery Range (Placing 2nd) and Franklin Archery Range (Placing 1st). The Nationals were held in Kapiti Coast Archery Range from 4 to 5 May 2024. On May 23rd Leonidas Pereira travelled to Brisbane, Australia where he competed for 3 days in Oceania’s largest CrossFit competition Torian Pro. He is the first teen to ever qualify for a competition at this level representing a school gym and was the newest to this sport in his division. Congratulations on your achievement Leonidas! We are all very proud of what you have accomplished and are looking forward to seeing your growth as you work towards more goals over the year. Top 10 14 to 15-year-old teen in Oceania is pretty awesome. |  |
| A massive congratulations to Marley Kemp (11HDW) who has been handpicked by Team Oceania United to showcase his skills at two prestigious prep tournaments in Seattle, Washington: The Northwest Elite Talent Showcase and Premier Spring Slam, both scheduled for April. This opportunity in Seattle could be a game-changer for Marley. It's a chance for him to compete against some of the nation's top high school players, with college scouts and recruiters watching closely. The exposure and experience gained from these tournaments could open doors to collegiate opportunities that Marley has been dreaming of. Marley is currently fundraising to get to Seattle.
