Early release of students.
Parent Teacher Meetings will be held on Thursday 9th and 16th May between 2:30pm and 7:20pm. School will close at 1.30pm. There will be an option of having your meetings either online or onsite. |
| Allowance as per the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement members of the secondary teachers’ union (PPTA) will be involved in a Paid Union Meeting in the afternoon of Wednesday 15 May. Periods 1 and 2 will run as usual and period 3 will finish early. Students will be sent home at 12.00pm and the school will be closed for instruction. Students who are unable to leave the school grounds until the normal end of the school day at 3.00pm will be supervised on site by non-union teachers, in the school library. They will need to bring along their own learning material. A notice regarding buses will be sent once times are confirmed. We thank you very much for your support and apologise for any inconvenience. |
| MOE Teacher Only Day for Curriculum and Assessment will be held on 31 May, there will be no school on this day. |
| Massey High School's Annual Open Night will be held on 10 June 2024. We have two sessions that run that day, one from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and a second from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. A huge amount of work goes into the final preparations for the evening by our staff and a small army of student helpers. The hours leading up to the first session are used for rearranging of classrooms and installation of displays. To allow for this to happen, classes will finish on that day at 12.30pm. All buses (where possible) have been rescheduled accordingly. Those students who rely on buses that are shared routes will be able to use the library to study until the buses’ usual arrival time. |
