Principal's Pānui
19 July 2024
Just a short message in anticipation of the start of Term 3 on Monday. Term 3 is a busy one for all, from assessments for our students undertaking Levels 1, 2, and 3 NCEA to the array of sports and events that take place over the next 10 weeks.
School Ball
As many will be aware, our annual Senior School Ball was held on the first Thursday of the holidays. Our students who attended were outstanding, and they again garnered compliments from the venue. The observation that it was the most orderly and respectful dinner service involving a school ball that they had seen at the venue was welcomed, but also explained by the fact that our students are simply good people.
If I can express my thanks to all students who attended, and to parents and caregivers who ensured that their children arrived and departed safely and prepared so well for the event.
I’d also like to thank our staff involved in the behind-the-scenes operations, and thank those who gave their time to attend the ball.
The Term ahead
- Parent/Teacher meetings take place on Thursday 1st August – please make sure that you book your interviews as soon as possible.
- Weeks 3 to 9 of the Term contain the following events:
