Saturday 19th October 2024 at RNZAF Airforce Base Auckland, Whenuapai

On Saturday the Evolocity students from MHS got together to showcase their recycled kart design powered by an electric motor and compete on the track against other schools and clubs within their region at the annual Regional Final event series.

The team competed in the following events.

• drag racing
• gymkhana/slalom
• efficiency and endurance challenges

We were delighted to win the earth care award with our recycled kart and to gain a second place in the standard class endurance bike race.
